*scribbles all over in green crayon*

there, I feel a little better now. It's just this Historiography Research paper! I'm supposed to evaluate differences of scholarly opinion - which wouldn't be so hard if I weren't writing about the founding of Sumter, South Carolina. For starters, there are only four "scholar's" works available on the subject. And then there are at most minor minor discrepancies about dates. grrr... I've got to find some way to do this analysis that doesn't involve retelling the same story five times.
Hmmm... focus on differences, unique angles, unique perspectives, why they give the years they give... that could work. But first, dinner.
