Thurber : )
Today, I ran errands with mom, got to go by the library, and played LOTR with my mother and my sister. It was a good day. I also read The White Deer by James Thurber and heartily recommend it, and fully intend to pull quotes from it at some point for amusement's sake. *sighs* Why can't some things just be?
*exasperated sigh* There are some small things I've been considering and by considering I mean contemplating, questioning, and briefly agonizing over without really reaching a conclusion, but with a fragile sort of certainty growing within me. And then somebody had to go clomping through this garden of potential oak trees and dig everything up! Alright, so the conclusion is: imagination and creativity are not without limits and responsibilities. The integrity of a subcreation should not be intentionally violated. And ok, it's probably better to modify than to scrap entirely... but scrapping entirely is still preferable to ... yeah, this makes no sense to anyone but me and possibly someone who doesn't read my blog. But it helped to just type it.
So is it back to the sandbox? no... no... there is still so much.
