Rain!

I forgot one very important thing about South Carolina. This place has awesome rain - big drops, lots of wind, lightning, deep rumbling thunder, and sunshine. I sat on our back porch swing and watched it for a while. The sun shone through this one patch in the clouds and the sky was beautiful. Unfortunately the porch swing was facing the wrong way to see lightning, so I watched that for a while. Then I came in and put up some stuff in my room. I glanced outside and noticed that it was raining much harder. Absolutely wonderfully sopping wet! The only problem was that the only puddles were on the street which added an element of grit. Not pleasant on bare feet. So I walked to Lens Hevin and back on the grass. It was fun.
