My room is still in shambles...
but I don't really mind. Having a room that resembles a maniac obstacle course keeps life interesting and encourages flexibility. Apart from my room (which is waiting for a monumental organization effort) and my sister's room (which is waiting for inspiration), the house looks like home. We can finally get to the back door and the den is completely unpacked and settled. I'm evening learning which cabinets hold what in the kitchen. The Garage is another story... one that will have to wait for a dark and stormy night...
I finished reading Many Dimensions last night. I'm realizing that I need to be careful or I will run out of reading material... *shudders* and I have a flight that I was planning on reading on ahead of me... Anyway, Many Dimensions was/were? good. The mood was very different from Descent into Hell. If the one was a midnight blue sky with a gold tinged moon and whispy clouds in semi-concentric circles around some unknown center, I have no idea what the other one was. But if the first was horchata, the later was jamaica. Not that that makes sense to anyone who hasn't tasted those two. And I really can't compare the two books. Both had an incredible sense of beyond. But Descent into Hell focused on beauty, exchange, and Omnipotence. Many Dimensions had key themes of justice, unity, and surrender. Oh, they were both wonderful, and at some point, I hope to go through and copy down quotes before I return them.
There is renewed hope for the sweater. I have 2-3 inches done on the other side... depending on which direction it's stretched... and have decided that the first side will probably work fine if I can find a complimentary yarn color. Changing dye lots in the middle of a project does strange things. And I don't hope to find more in the same dye lot. But there are a few other colors that could potentially work.
I'm eventually going to set up my computer. I'm almost afraid too. I get little enough done as it is. Additionally, once a certain computer game is unpacked my sister will be glued to it for quite some time. I love her, but I'm not sure I want her in my room that much. Although the obstacle course might be a deterrent... and on that note... I think I shall excavate further.
