menial tasks and barbeque sauce
It was a very good day. I'm listening to Caedmon's call and just discovered that my tea mug is still quite full. This morning, my sister and I went to school to help my mom get her class room ready for the open house this evening. We prepared packets for parents, prepared folders for students (you try counting out twenty-five sheets of paper fifty times!), rearranged desks, hung things, moved things, and cut out hundreds of small brightly colored recently laminated pieces of paper for the not-quite-sure-what-to-call-it. Let's just say that the behavioral modification experts for some unknown reason have decided that pink is the best color - followed by orange, green, yellow, and white. Yeah, I don't understand why they chose pink either. Ah well, so we did that until four or five in the evening. Lunch was incredible - and in the middle of the day. We ate at Cut-rate Drugs. The food was wonderful and greasy - wonderfully greasy. The patty melt involved two hamburger patties and much melted cheese and a slice of very good tomato. Grace commented that her grilled cheese was fried, and then squeezed butter from it to prove it. If you're ever in Sumter, go there and eat. This evening I watched Prince Caspian/The Voyage of the Dawn Treader with my sister, called Nikki, made barbeque sauce, and played Alpha Centauri. And oddly enough, Lydia also made barbeque sauce today.

Caedmon's Call and a full mug of tea. Could do much worse.
*sigh* Sounds like contentment to me. :)
YAY! Kathy commented!
Yes, I did, didn't I? Hmmm... how ironic. ;) :P
Are you going to update on your life any time soon? ^-^
