Don't panic (in rye, sarcastic letters)
Well, I have less than forty-eight hours until the remaining half of a wisdom tooth in my lower left jaw (tooth #17) is removed, and this means that my natural tendency is to cram all the panic of a week into two days. I know it's pointless, and I know it doesn't help. However, the alternative is plotting revenge on the surgeon who "removed" my wisdom teeth, and that makes my mother nervous.
Happier thoughts: Yesterday, I made curried turkey, and it was good. I'm about 3/4 of the way done hand hemming my purple shirt, and I hate our sewing machine for abandoning me at a time like this. My room is a mess, and I have projects scattered about the house mostly related to the purple shirt.
Does anyone have suggestions for movies I "must" see during my recovery? (please refrain from suggesting any related to dentistry, orthodonture, or surgery out of respect for my mouth.)

Well I WAS going to suggest "Timmy the Tooth's Big Day Out" but maybe that wouldn't be such a good idea.... ^_^
Watch "The Core" or "Matrix" if you haven't, or maybe something more inspirational like "Return of the King"? Just don't watch "Passion" cause of all that blood, and tooth surgery.... blech. Have fun! I'll be praying for you!
Little Shop of Horrors. Muahaha.
Thanks Siri. I really appreciate the prayers. Um... Timmy the Tooth's big day out sounds humorous in a painfully appropriate way. I haven't seen Core... I remember thinking it looked interesting from the previews.
Nice try Karen! But I've already seen Little Shop of Horrors, and will likely wake up with the dental song stuck in my head on Wednesday.
Oh, and for all those who were concerned, I finished hemming the shirt! :D
As my Doctor said this morning. You need to hand all your worries over to God. And sides...getting teeth out is not THAT bad. Just check and make sure they got all their instrments out and did not forget anything else.

I am sorry you got the hicups on your last glass of water. I am praying for you!!! God will be with you! Just think... it could be worse, your doctor could have the name of Slaughter like mine did. ;-)
