The Trumpet of the Swan

Today, in addition to mowing and attempting encaustic with a candle and crayons (it doesn't work) and emptying my last box and going through a large bin and finding a phone that I've had for ten years at least and finding out it still worked and wearing the hat to an Italian restaurant and discovering that I like Greek potatoes but not Greek chicken, I heard swans.

From what I have heard, swans sound decidedly strange. Not that I have ever heard one in person though.

Oooh cool swirly crayon things, isn't that what encaustic is? You have WAY too much time on your hands!

It's possible that I have too much time on my hands, but the failed encaustic experiment only took a couple minutes. Swans sound like a more musical version of geese and remind me of people playing glass coke bottles (the liter ones in Mexico).
