in search of a song...

*shrugs* it seems at times like these I always find something that either echoes how I feel or how I want to feel. Then follows binge listening which reinforces a particular set of emotions and weeds out those I have deemed extranuous by not choosing to include in the song chosen.
2nd part of last summer it was "Just on the Street Where You Live" as sung by Nat King Cole
Christmas break either before that or even before that one... it was definately "Calling You" by Aqua... not specifically the words more the... mood conveyed..
And now...
I thought I had two potential songs... but they don't fit... that is maybe the first part fits, but I don't want the second part to fit.
Seems silly, but it's one way to deal with ambivalence... I guess...
really the best song for right now would be "In Your Hands" off of "Canticle of the Plains" (highly recommend the entire album...)
ok, this is what comes of being home with my sister's itunes account, introducing my mom and sister to internet radio, and looking up lyrics to otherwise applicable songs.
I'm not sure if this post will make any sense to anyone...

You should go with "Never Alone" by Zoe Girl. At least that's who I think it is. Something like that. Girl something.

ZOEgirl has a *very* different sound.
If you want the CD and you don't have it already, you could borrow mine. =D
