Externals

Over the course of the weekend I read roughly half of The Oath. This had two consequences 1. not as much time spent doing things I would ordinarily do on the weekend (tag along with Rachel) 2. I'm on the edge of my seat and I have to put the book aside for another week or until I get miraculously ahead on homework. (I wound up asking Lydia to hide it from me until I could demonstrate that I actually had time to read it.)
Friday, Em came. It was fun. I'm absolutely hideous at ddr. However, it was still very fun. We looked at dresses and random clothes, and I'm not sure I'll ever be able to look at manequins without laughing. I got in maybe 30 minutes of swordplay. After Emily had left, Lydia and I did introvert stuff (computer games, reading, eating chocolate chip cookies). It was a good night.
Saturday, slept in, had lunch with Lydia, had meltdown over lunch, was mopped up and encouraged by Lydia and talking with my family, did homework, read at dinner : D , went to Symphony, had fun at that, went to Applebees, was entertained and disturbed by conversation, got back approaching midnight, and was annoyed at not having more time.
Sunday, tried to wake Rachel, went to church with Lydia and Liz, read The Oath in the car on the way there and the way back, had lunch with Lydia, Rachel, Aaron, and Brian, worked on Calculus III homework with Aaron and Brian while Rachel sang and doodled and drew some really neat dragons, missed an appointment for swordplay, was generally disappointed even though calculus homework went alright and got done, talked with people, reviewed for my Greek test and took forever to get some reading for Computer Science I done.
If you want to hear about anything else ask me over messenger or in person, I have a policy against venting on my blog. (unless it is humorous complaints over what can only be termed frustrations or pet peeves)
I miss my family. Em, I'm praying for you and your family. That's about it.

The Oath, while awesome, is not as good as Peretti's other stuff. At least, I don't think so.

Ooh, finally got homework done, eh? I don't believe it!

Thanks for praying for me and for the hugs. I needed it! Hope you start feeling okay too! *huggles Saraita*
